- Be 동사: am, is, are

Are you + 형용사?

You are -> Are you로 앞뒤가 바뀜

- 일반동사: be 동사를 제외한 나머지 동사 (study, go, eat, love 등)

Do you + 동사원형?

You happy -> Do you happy로 앞에 Do가 붙음

[현재 일반 동사]

: Do + S ~? (평소에/ 일반적으로 ~~을 하는지/안하는지에 대한 질문)

You eat breakfast every day -> Do I eat breakfast every day?

I work every day-> Do you work every day? 당신은 일을 하나요?

She works on weekends-> Does she work on weekends?

[과거 일반 동사]

: Did + S ~? (과거에 ~을 했는지에 대한 질문)

You ate breakfast -> Did you eat breakfast?

She quit(=quitted) her job -> Did she quit her job?

(했니? 가 아닌 뭘 했냐고 물을때 What 사용: What did you do yesterday?)

[현재 be 동사]

: be + S ~?(~인지 아닌지 질문)

You are ready to order -> Are you ready to order?

She is happy with me -> Is she happy with me?

He is new here -> Is he new here?

I am free now -> Am I free now?

[미래 be 동사(be going to)]

: Be + S + going to ~? (앞으로 계획된 ~을 할건지 안할건지에 대한 질문)

You are going to meet up with some friends this weekend -> Are you going to meet up with some friends this weekend?

You are going to eat breakfast -> Are you going to eat breakfast?

(아침 먹을거야?에서 뭘 먹고싶냐고 물을땐 What을 붙임: What are you going to eat?)

[미래 be 동사 (will)]

: will + S~? (~을 할건지 안할건지에 대한 질문)

It’s fun -> Is it fun(good)?

It is going to be good -> Is it going to be good?

It is going to be fun -> Is it going to be fun? (X)

(fun이 주관적인데 going to가 정해져 있는 미래를 묻는 뉘앙스라서 will 사용해야함)

It will be fun -> Will it be fun?

It will be okay -> Will it be okay?
