: 상황을 가정할때 쓰는 표현

ex) Even if we leave now, we won't make it in time

지금 출발한다고 해도 제시간에 못가

ex) Even if you apologize to her now, I don't think it'll be enough

그녀에게 사과한다고 해도 충분하지 않을 걸

even though: ~해도 ~기는 한데, ~임에도 불구하고

: 실제 상황에 대해 이야기 할때

ex) Even though I'm your best friend, I can't support you on this issue

내가 네 절친이기는 하지만 이 문제에 대해서는 네 편을 못 들어줘
