[영어식 사고] 취미에 대해, 출근에 대해,관계절, 완료시제

생각의 전환

- 내 사무실에 둘 가습기 -> 내 사무실을 위한 가습기

- 나는 쇼핑을 할 때 -> 시제?(현재? or 현재 진행형?)

- ~하는 편이다 : usually/ tend to

- 종류가 많다 -> 많은 종류가 있다

- (이렇게 저렇게) 했을걸요? (사실 추측)-> must have +pp

- 훑다 -> look through (어디/무엇)을

- 10번도 넘게: more than 10 times/ over 10 times/ a dozen times

- 매장 전체: the entire store (the whole store은 매장 통째로를 말하는 느낌. 여기서는 매장 안에서 둘러보는 느낌이어야 함)

- 그랬는데도 -> still

- 가장 비싼 것 -> the most expensive one

"제 사무실에 둘 가습기를 사러 어제 전자제품 매장에 갔어요. 저는 쇼핑할 때 결정을 꽤 빨리 하는 편인데요, 와, 종류가 정말 너무 많은 거에요. 매장 전체를 한 10번도 넘게 훑었을걸요? 그랬는데도 결정을 못했어요. 그래서 제가 어떻게 했는 줄 알아요? 제일 비싼걸로 샀어요"

1. 출근과 관련된 기본 예시 제시

- take the bus/ subway to work

2. 어떤 표현을 더 붙일지 고민 (걸리는 시간, 빈도, 특정 날에 한하여, 변화, 이유)

I usually take the bus to work. It takes about half an hour.

I don't wear a suit to work on weekends

I used to bring my own lunch to work every day. But it just wasn't worth it anymore. Now I just eat at the Cafeteria

I needed a new laptop and I found a good deal online so I ordered one.

But apparently, the delivery company that is shipping it has closed down a few of their distribution warehouses because of the pandemic.

It has been a week now but it looks like it's going to take a little longer.
